Role Overview

The Fleet Technician 3 (Entry Level) Evenings position in Joplin, Missouri, offers an exciting entry into PepsiCo's world-class maintenance team. This full-time evening shift role pays a target of $31.65 per hour, with great benefits starting Day 1. You'll work independently on preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs for a diverse fleet including light/heavy trucks, vans, automobiles, and forklifts. Key Responsibilities

As a Fleet Technician 3, your core duties include:

• Performing preventive maintenance and repairs with high independence using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Working on PepsiCo's varied fleet: automobiles, light/heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts.
• Diagnosing vehicle failures, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts as needed.
• Maintaining precise records in vehicle software systems, including work orders, part reconciliation, and pre-trip checklists.
• Upholding PepsiCo's safety culture by following all standards and procedures.

Experience task variety in a team-oriented setting with coaching available.

Qualifications & Requirements

PepsiCo provides extensive training, but minimum requirements ensure success:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with movements like bending, reaching, climbing (accommodations considered).
• Own basic hand tools; diagnostic and high-tech equipment supplied.
• Pass Forklift Driving Skills test if applicable.

Helpful experience includes wheel removal/torqueing, limited supervision work, shop tools (hoists, welding, tires), PM programs, computer use (iPad, diagnostics), and hydraulic/air brake systems.
