Key Responsibilities

As a Fleet Technician 3, your daily contributions are vital to PBNA's success. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs with a high degree of independence using cutting-edge voice applications and diagnostic tools.
• Diagnosing vehicle failures, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts on a wide range of equipment, from light vehicles to heavy trucks and forklifts.
• Maintaining precise documentation, including work orders, vehicle records, part reconciliation, and pre-trip checklists in vehicle software systems.
• Leveraging predictive analytics like Uptake to proactively address issues and minimize downtime.
• Supporting PepsiCo's unwavering safety culture by strictly adhering to all standards and procedures, while collaborating in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

This entry-level role is designed for motivated individuals ready to grow. Minimum requirements include being at least 18 years old, possessing your own basic hand tools (diagnostics and high-tech equipment provided), and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, climb, and handle objects. You must pass a Forklift Driving Skills test if applicable. Helpful experience encompasses removing/replacing wheels to torque specs, working under limited supervision, using shop tools like engine hoists and welders, preventive maintenance programs, computer proficiency (iPad, diagnostics software), and knowledge of hydraulic/air brake systems.
