At Frasers Group Financial Services we are constantly evolving & transforming, and we are now recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Credit Risk Manager – Collections. The successful candidate will be required to manage the development, delivery and optimisation of arrears management strategies, that meets FGFS’s objectives for supporting customers and maintaining compliance with regulations and own policies.

As a Credit Risk Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and delivering effective arrears management strategies that optimise commercial performance and support our customers
  • Managing the performance and unlocking the potential of your team
  • Managing and monitoring adherence to all governance, risk, and compliance standards, ensuring strategies deliver the best outcomes for customers and the business
  • Developing strategic relationships internally and externally that add value to the business

Qualifications

  • Experience of working within the financial services sector
  • Experience of managing credit risk/collections strategies
  • Extensive experience of working and delivering in a regulated environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of financial standards and guidelines – e.g. FCA, Consumer Duty, Data Protection
  • Experience of managing and developing the performance of others, either through coaching or line management
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively to meet changing deadlines and demands
  • Ability to interpret data and information to highlight opportunities and minimise risk
  • Experience of risk management
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Proven track record in effective facilitation and communication at multiple levels
  • Commercially astute
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at an appropriate level
  • Experience of programming languages such as SQL or SAS
  • Analytical and pragmatic in approach to problem solving and maximising opportunities
  • Ability to manage conflict and knows when to escalate
