We are seeking a highly motivated Data Implementation Analyst to join our Data team. This role is crucial for enabling accurate, scalable, and insightful data collection to support product development, marketing initiatives, and strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will act responsible for translating tracking and data requirements into reliable implementation plans. 

This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical, data and technical foundation, experience in tag management and analytics tools, and a keen eye for data accuracy. You’ll need to be a proactive problem-solver who thrives on enhancing data quality and who can identify opportunities for improvement in data, tracking and measurement processes. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Data Requirements Gathering – Ensure data requirements are captured appropriately for intended business Use Cases across Marketing Data, Operations Data and Web / App Features. 
  • Analytics Implementation – Build and support end-to-end data implementation processes across digital platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals. 
  • Maintain and Enhance Analytics and Data Infrastructure – Ensure tools like GTM, GA4, Segment / Server-side Tracking Tools and related SDKs are correctly configured. Conduct audits and resolve discrepancies in data capture. 
  • Ensure Data Accuracy and Integrity – Validate data collected through digital platforms, identify gaps, and implement solutions to maintain high standards of data quality. 
  • Support Product Feature Releases – Collaborate with Product Leads, Product Owners, Architects and Engineers to define and implement tracking for new features and enhancements. 
  • Proactively Identify Tracking Opportunities – Analyse user journeys, product features and uses interactions to suggest improvements and additional tracking that could offer business value. 
  • Manage Critical Fixes – Identify, prioritise, and implement urgent fixes for broken or missing tracking that could impact reporting and analysis. 
  • Cross-Team Collaboration – Serve as the data implementation specialist in cross-functional meetings, offering guidance and ensuring clear communication of data and tracking needs. 
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing – Maintain detailed implementation specs and data layer documentation, particularly for Tracking, Attribution and Data Instrumentation 
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure data products comply with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols. 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Work Experience: 3+ years of experience in digital data and analytics implementation, ideally in a Product and E-commerce environment. 
  • Channel Attribution: Strong understanding of Marketing Data and Channels, as well as the data foundations required for accurate reporting on Channel Performance.  
  • Key Tools and Technologies: Solid expertise in tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), Segment / Server-Side Technologies, Snowflake and BigQuery. 
  • Tag Management: Familiarity with JavaScript and understanding of HTML/CSS for tag troubleshooting. 
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when validating data or resolving tracking bugs. 
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Tracking Debugging: Experience with debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools, Tag Assistant, and network analysis tools. 
  • Hands-on Coordination: Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead relevant squads to deliver accurate implementations under tight timelines. 
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools. 
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of data management. 
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills in data implementation, with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving common goals.
