Description

As Night Porter, you will be the main point of contact during the night and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running and security of the hotel overnight. This varied position requires a hands-on approach, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to respond effectively to any situation.
The responsibility.
•     Provide a friendly and professional welcome to guests during night-time check-ins and check-outs
•    Carry out regular security and safety checks throughout the premises
•    Manage and respond to any emergency situations in line with hotel procedures
•    Perform general cleaning duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness in public areas
•    Provide bar service to guests in accordance with licensing laws
•    Complete reception duties, including taking bookings and handling enquiries
•    Prepare for the following day’s operations as instructed by management

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and remain calm under pressure
• Trustworthy, professional, and well-presented 
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Basic IT skills for using hotel booking systems

• This is a 28 hours per week role involving night shifts between 21:00 and 06:00
