As a Front End Engineer III (Hybrid) in Austin, Texas, you'll join the Ecommerce sub-group to enhance SMB UI and Store UI features for the Falcon platform. This role involves migrating features to a new UI platform alongside the Kestrel UI team. Collaborate closely with UX designers, QA, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences relied upon 24/7 by customers worldwide against sophisticated adversaries. Using Ember.js as our primary framework, you'll push web platform boundaries with evergreen browsers and massive data volumes. Ideal for engineers passionate about user needs, accessibility, and dynamic problem-solving in cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you'll drive front-end excellence for CrowdStrike's mission-critical tools:

• Build and maintain single-page web applications in JavaScript using Ember.js.
• Participate in code reviews for your code and peers' contributions.
• Initiate and build tools enhancing team development workflows.
• Write comprehensive automated tests ensuring reliability.
• Collaborate across UI Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Designers, Technical Writers, User Researchers, QA, and Product Managers.
• Continuously learn cybersecurity challenges while solving complex problems with enthusiasm.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Desire to collaborate with users, designers, and testers for quality software.
• Deep JavaScript expertise and experience with thick-client apps using Ember, AngularJS, Backbone, React/Flux.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks like QUnit, Mocha, Selenium.
• Functional knowledge of accessible interfaces and strong HTML/CSS, including animations, scalable CSS, SCSS/LESS.
• Familiarity with client-side build tools (Grunt, Gulp, Ember CLI) and Git workflows.
