Role Overview

As a Front End Engineer III (Staff-level, E7) on the Falcon Foundry Platform team, you'll expand dynamic features in our Falcon Fusion SOAR product—a highly extensible No-Code/Low-Code platform for automating complex workflows. Based hybrid in Sunnyvale, California, you'll own delivery of high-scale UIs handling massive data volumes for cybersecurity professionals worldwide. Using Ember.js (with easy transitions from React, Angular, or Vue), you'll push web platform boundaries on evergreen browsers, collaborating with UX designers, QA, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences 24/7 against sophisticated adversaries.

Falcon Platform Spotlight

The Falcon platform redefines security with AI-native capabilities, including Falcon Fusion for workflow automation. This role lets you contribute to tools that help stop breaches in real-time, working with petabyte-scale data visualizations, triggers, and views in a unique, dynamic problem space.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll drive technical architecture, scope priorities, and full product ownership. Expect to:

• Build and maintain single-page web applications in JavaScript using Ember.js.
• Participate in code reviews for your code and fellow UI engineers.
• Take initiative to build tools enhancing team development experience.
• Write automated tests ensuring robust, high-quality code.
• Collaborate across UI engineers, cloud engineers, designers, technical writers, user researchers, QA, and product managers.
• Continually learn cybersecurity challenges while solving hard problems with fun.

Qualifications & Requirements

Our ideal candidate thrives in high-scale SaaS environments with user sensitivity and innovation drive. Required:

• 7+ years building complex UIs for high-scale software, mostly recent SaaS.
• Deep JavaScript expertise; thick-client apps with Ember, AngularJS, Backbone, React/Flux.
• Strong HTML/CSS, including animations, scalable CSS, preprocessors (SCSS/LESS).
• Testing experience (QUnit, Mocha, Selenium).
• Functional accessibility knowledge; collaboration with users/designers/testers.
• Client-side build tools (git, yarn, npm, Ember CLI); Git workflows.

Bonus: Open-source contributions, D3/ThreeJS graphics, design/data viz, performance optimization, web accessibility testing.
