Role Overview

As a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician (Technician II, Health Systems Pharmacy) at Cardinal Health's managed pharmacy in Houston, TX, you'll support pharmacists in daily operations at AMG Specialty Hospital-Houston Med Ctr. This 40-hour weekly role primarily runs Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM, with some weekends 8AM-2PM. You'll handle prescription filling, inventory, customer communication, and compliance tasks under moderate supervision.   • Process returned medications for credit or destruction in compliance with guidelines.
  • Maintain adherence to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Required: State Pharmacy Technician license/registration and ACPE IV certification.
  • National pharmacy technician certification if applicable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • In-patient hospital pharmacy experience highly preferred.
