Job Description Summary

As a Central Data Steward in Data Governance team, you will be a part of the Integrated Supply Chain & Services function that is undergoing a broader Digital Transformation. In that role, you will be responsible for the business side of the data management and governance. You will work closely with business/functional teams to ensure that data meets business needs and supports the organizational goals for Data Governance.

As a Central Data Steward, you will take part in the implementation and execution of processes and procedure that monitor and enforce data governance policies making sure data assets/products are well-managed, and data quality is optimized across the organization helping the organization to be become data-driven.


 

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with Functional Data Stewards to categorize and classify data based on its sensitivity, confidentiality, and importance to the Sub-Domain related work.

  • Creating and maintaining documentation for data dictionaries ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

  • Identifing opportunities to streamline data-related processes and enhance where necessary.

  • Acting as a steward for specific data domains, ensuring that data is used appropriately and effectively.

  • Assessing the maturity of ongoing initiatives within the Sub-Domain on their DG capabilities and prepare a roadmap for DG implementation.

  • Supporting Functional Data Stewards to define business terms, data elements, and metrics to ensure a common understanding across the Sub-Domain.

  • Implementing and maintain data catalog in Collibra, ensuring completeness, accuracy and technical readiness within the agreed timeline.

  • Ensuring Collibra Catalog readiness from a technical perspective, including proper configuration and metadata integrity.

  • Responsible for the certification process for data products by validating compliance with governance standards and ensuring certification is completed on time.

  • Collaborating with Functional Stewards and functional teams to ensure certified data products are properly documented and discoverable in Collibra.

  • Defining and implementing Data Quality rules, enable teams to capture the KPIs aligned by the Data-Domain and Sub-Domain, reporting data quality status in Sub-Domain governance meetings, identifying and providing feedback on data quality issues.

  • Collaborating with Functional Data Stewards and functional teams to develop and deliver training programs to increase data literacy and awareness among employees.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of data quality principles and methodologies.

  • Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, tools, and industry best practices.

  • Demonstrated experience in data stewardship.

  • Very good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business teams.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and derive actionable insights for business decisions.

  • Skills in documenting data policies, procedures, and guideline

  • Hands-on experience with Power BI tool to present data quality outcomes.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra) is a plus.

  • Experience with Data Intelligence Platform (e.g., Collibra Data Quality) and SQL.

  • Experience with Data Mesh federated governance model implementation is a plus.

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps is a plus.

  • Understanding of AI concepts and their application in data governance is an advantage.

Pay Range

For Poland based positions, Annual Salary Range:196,000.00PLN-269,500.00PLN

Placement within this range depends on:

  • Relevant skills and qualifications

  • Prior job-related experience
