GE Healthcare is seeking a proactive and results-driven Cash Operations Leader to lead initiatives that enhance operational cash performance across HCS Equipment segments. This role will focus on optimizing the cash conversion cycle by improving inventory management, billing efficiency, and the delivery-to-acceptance process. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally—with Commercial, Operations, Logistics, Service, and Finance teams—to identify inefficiencies, implement sustainable solutions, and accelerate cash realization. This position plays a critical role in optimizing working capital and supporting the company’s broader financial goals.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Conversion Optimization:
    Lead initiatives to improve the cash conversion cycle across the equipment sales lifecycle—from order intake to cash collection.
  • Working Capital Management:
    Focus on optimizing inventory levels and billing efficiency to support improved operational cash flow.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Streamline inventory management to reduce excess and slow-moving stock.
    • Improve billing accuracy and timeliness to accelerate invoicing and reduce unbilled balances.
    • Shorten the delivery-to-acceptance cycle by identifying and removing bottlenecks in logistics, installation, and customer sign-off.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Partner with Commercial, Commercial Finance, Operations, Logistics, Service, and Cash Finance teams to align operational strategies with cash performance objectives.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting:
    Collaborate with Cash FP&A to define, track, and optimize KPIs related to operational cash performance, including inventory turnover, unbilled revenue, and delivery-to-acceptance cycle time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, operations, or supply chain—preferably within a global healthcare or industrial organization.
  • Strong understanding of working capital and cash flow dynamics in equipment sales environments.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and process improvement tools.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
