All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. The role includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), you will manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Impact quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Execute standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• All on site life extensions, repairs and inspection-related service activities able to be performed at customer site.
• Onsite machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, generator diagnostics.
• Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
• Basic understanding of key business drivers; use this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolve issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE HealthCare. Explain technical information to others.

Required Qualifications

• This role requires basic experience in the Services & On Site Services. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• Class B driver's license.
• EU work permit.
• Commercial understanding.
• Is accountable for own work.
• Positive attitude, good sense of humour and team spirit.
• Experience from the industry and a similar position.
• Knowledge of IT, Linux/Microsoft
• Willing to travel extensively in the job.
• Want to establish and maintain good customer relationships.
• Detail oriented and structured.
• Can work independently.
• Is flexible, ambitious and have a good overview.
