Associate’s degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Mechanical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a failure analysis, quality, or test technician role—preferably in the medical device or electronics industry or related experience – OR – a minimum of 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in failure analysis, quality inspection, or electromechanical assembly in lieu of formal education.
Familiarity with basic failure analysis tools and techniques (e.g., microscopes, multimeters, X-ray inspection).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Comfortable working in a regulated environment (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA).
Experience with SEM, FIB, or other advanced analytical tools.
Knowledge of electromechanical systems and small-scale assemblies.
Familiarity with complaint handling systems and quality documentation.
Basic understanding of root cause analysis and CAPA processes
