Are you ready to lead impactful projects that directly support better patient care? As a Project Manager Installation, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering advanced medical imaging systems—like MRI, CT, and X-ray—across Istanbul and all over Türkiye. From planning to execution, you’ll ensure smooth installations that enable fast and accurate diagnostics and patient care in hospitals and clinics, creating and ensuring customer satisfaction by wing to wing project management with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a home-based role located on the European side of Istanbul, with frequent travel across the city (70%).

Job Description

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will own the full project lifecycle of medical equipment installations, ensuring timely, high-quality execution and customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the project management and execution process from sales order review to final handover.
  • Managing project planning, site design/layout, contractor coordination, and documentation submission.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and external customers.
  • Driving customer satisfaction by ensuring smooth communication, issue resolution, and timely project delivery.
  • Managing project finances, timelines, and resources while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, service, and engineering teams.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 4–7 years of professional experience
  • At least 2 years experience in managing similar projects for customers in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience in construction, IT, or installation projects, ideally in a healthcare setting
  • Strong customer orientation, especially in clinical environments
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in both Turkish and English
  • Ability to work independently from a remote/home office and travel frequently within Istanbul
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with project planning tools like MS Project

Ideal but no "must have" requirements are

  • Familiarity with GE Healthcare products and the medical technology industry
  • Formal training in project management; Six Sigma or Lean methodology experience is a plus

Quality & EHS Commitment

  • Adhere to all GEHC Quality Management Systems, policies, and applicable regulations
  • Complete all required compliance and EHS training on time
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, actively participating in EHS inspections and incident investigations
