As a Sales Applications Specialist for Surgical Visualization and Guidance Activ Imaging portfolio, your key responsibilities would include:

• Owning the sales number and strategy: You'll be accountable for meeting sales targets and developing strategies to achieve them
• Providing product support: Leveraging your commercial and clinical expertise to assist customers and ensure they understand the products.
• Protecting and gaining market share: Using your knowledge and skills to maintain existing customers and attract new ones.

This role requires a strong blend of sales acumen, clinical knowledge, problem solving and strategic thinking.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Meet sales targets and develop effective strategies. Setting clear goals, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Engage with Stakeholders and Key Decision-Makers. Understand their needs and goals by tailoring your approach to address specific challenges and objectives.
  • Provide Product Support. Have a deep understanding of products and their applications. Offer training, resources, and responsive support to customers including pre-sale activity.
  • Protect and Gain Market Share. Understand competition and market trends using data insights, differentiate offerings, and build strategic partnerships.
  • Manage the Entire Sales Process. Oversee the sales process from initial consultation to closing. Being in control of every step, ensuring a smooth and effective process that underpins accurate forecasting.
  • Team Collaboration. Work closely with colleagues to share insights, support each other, and leverage diverse skills.

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires advanced experience in successful capital equipment sales within an acute care hospital setting.
  • Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • Have strong foundational business acumen.
  • Skilled in utilizing CRM tools and dedicated to fulfilling all record-keeping requirements.
  • This role involves extensive travel and significant customer field activities.
