full-timePosted: Jan 14, 2026

Job Description

Job Description Summary

We’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer to lead the architecture and development of AI powered automations that improve speed, quality, and scalability across our business. You will design reference architectures, build secure and performant services, and productionize solutions that combine LLMs, classical ML, RPA/workflow, and enterprise systems. This role bridges solution architecture with hands on engineering - you’ll set technical direction, ship code, and mentor others.
You will work closely with engineering, data science, operations, and business stakeholders to define and deliver robust automation solutions that enhances operational efficiency, customer experience, and business agility.
You will be at the forefront of transforming how we manage and scale our subscriptions business. Work with a passionate, cross-functional team in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
You will have opportunity to shape a mission-critical platform from the ground up.
GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator. Our purpose is to create a world where healthcare has no limits. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

In this role you will

  • Own end‑to‑end AI automation architectures: ingestion → orchestration → model inference → human‑in‑the‑loop → monitoring & feedback loops.
  • Design and implement AI automation solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform and AWS Bedrock, including defining RAG patterns, tool/function calling, prompt management, evaluation frameworks, and selecting services and reference designs across Azure and AWS for secure, scalable deployments.
  • Develop APIs, microservices, and integration layers for enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, ITSM).
  • Integrate AI solutions with RPA platforms (Power Automate, UiPath) and business applications.
  • Contribute to internal frameworks, reusable components, and coding standards.
  • Lead design reviews, threat modelling, and post‑incident reviews.
  • Document architectures, runbooks, and knowledge articles; enable Ops for smooth handover.
  • Collaborate with Product/Business to identify automation opportunities and shape roadmaps and success metrics.
  • Establish guardrails, safety, privacy, and governance (PII handling, data minimization, prompt/content safety, model versioning, auditability).

Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with hands-on development in AI, frontend and backend technologies.
  • Experience building AI/ML or LLM-based applications in production.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services (Azure OpenAI, Functions, AKS, API Management) and AWS services (Bedrock, Lambda, API Gateway).
  • Familiarity with RPA tools (Power Automate, UiPath) and enterprise integrations.
  • Understanding of cloud security, identity management, and data privacy.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and container orchestration.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Knowledge of subscription lifecycle management, supply chain, services, billing systems, and customer retention strategies.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-driven alerting or anomaly detection systems.

Inclusion and Diversity:

GE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, colour, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by law.
