Lawyers and non-lawyers representing the interests of the company to the US gov't as well as international governments, and agencies - may assist with government contracts, domestic product preferences, gift and gratuity regulations, former government employee restrictions. Involved in long term efforts including policy shaping. Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
