Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop requirements flow down, architecture/system design and analysis, risk analysis, integration and test, manufacturing, field and customer support including corrective and preventative actions to ensure customer satisfaction
• Apply expertise to help resolve urgent issues with current Molecular Imaging products.
• Leading the design team in the development of verification and validation planning and execution
• Works with customers and program leadership in a matrix organization to ensure project deliverables are met
• Owns and help develop technologies that support competitive technical differentiation
• Decision making in cross-disciplinary and architectural aspects.
• Assist Program Manager in execution of projects within time and schedule.
• Mentoring and training junior systems engineers

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc degree in Physics, Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering, M.Sc. is plus
• Broad exposure to Mechanical/ Control/ HW/SW/Systems design, and technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Control, Physics, etc.) 
• Experience in medical systems – advantage.
• At least 5 years of relevant systems engineering work experience in projects involving design and development of complex systems.
• Advantage – experience in more than one system engineering position, either in a single or multiple work-places
• Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems.
• Proficient in use of software tools for analysis and simulation (MATLAB, etc.)- an advantage
• Independent by nature, Self-learner, Excellent communication skills, team player
