We are looking for a Technical Investigation Engineer to lead technical investigations and provide support for medical devices used in critical care and anesthesia applications. In this role you would be working with other experts on our flag ship products. The Monitoring Solutions engineering team is located at Helsinki site.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • You would conduct technical root cause investigation and product testing for product issues found at customer sites.

  • Write up investigation and risk assessment records based on the conducted analysis and testing including electronics, mechanics or software interoperability.

  • Work in collaboration with the local engineering and global cross-functional teams to get their input and contribution to the analysis work.

  • Provide advice for the regional service teams to help them in resolution work.

  • Drive product enhancement actions to products currently in sales.

  • Participate Quality operating mechanisms and present status report outs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or related engineering discipline

  • Experience in product development or servicing activities

  • Ability for systematic analysis, facilitate teamwork and drive activities to closure

  • Proven capability to produce technical documentation

  • Curious and analythical – ask questions and explore different scenarios

  • Abilities to work, influence and communicate in global environment

  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written

  • EU work permit.

Desired Skills

  • Master’s degree in above mentioned educational disciblines

  • Prior work experience with medical device engineering

  • Know-how of patient monitors, parameters and clinical applications

  • Experience in working in regulated industry under quality management system

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
