Role Overview

The GenAI Engineering Intern - SkillBridge (Remote) position is an exclusive opportunity within CrowdStrike's DoD SkillBridge program, designed for transitioning U.S. Armed Forces members. This 12-week, full-time internship (40-hour work week) falls under the Counter Adversary Operations (CAO) team, CrowdStrike's elite cyber threat intelligence division. Reporting to the AI Strategy manager, you'll develop proof-of-concept GenAI solutions to enhance internal and customer threat intelligence workflows. This role bridges research, development, and productization, offering hands-on experience with Generative AI in cybersecurity. Ideal for entrepreneurial full-stack developers passionate about innovation, it's compliant with DoD Instruction 1322.29 and all federal labor laws. Participants continue receiving military pay and benefits—no CrowdStrike compensation during the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop proof-of-concept GenAI solutions automating internal workflows for threat intelligence teams.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders, including subject matter experts, engineers, and data scientists.
• Communicate technical capabilities clearly to non-technical users, tailoring solutions to their workflows.
• Report progress to the AI Strategy manager, covering research, development, and outcomes.
• Research threat intelligence domains, identify pain points, and prototype tools for end-user goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting, especially Python.
