Work Arrangement:  

Onsite: This position requires an employee to be on-site at the GM Design Center, Warren, MI on a full-time basis.

We’re a bold, creative crew of designers and strategists embedded in GM Industrial Design, where innovation meets imagination. We specialize in visual storytelling powered by cutting-edge graphics, AI, and design thinking—turning brand values and market insights into visuals that actually move people. From Corvette to Chevrolet Racing to immersive experiences like the Chevrolet Test Track, we collaborate across GM– globally–to define what the future looks like.

Now, we’re looking for the next generation of creative thinkers—designers who want to push boundaries, launch fresh ideas, and help reimagine what Graphic Design can be at GM. If you’re ready to make your mark, let’s build something unforgettable.

•            Graphic Systems

•            Visual brand communications

•            Brand Identities

•            Brand tonality, mood & imagery

•            Event Theming & invitations

•            Social media graphics

•            Motion graphics

•            Digital & web

•            Patterns & murals for branded experiences

•            Signage / Wayfinding

•            Exhibitions /Exhibits

•            Advertisements & marketing materials

•            Displays and posters

•            Centennial Books

Required Qualifications:     

  • Pursuit of a Bachelor’s or BFA degree in Graphic Design

  • Must be graduating between December 2026 – May 2028

  • Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week during the summer months

  • Knowledge of AI programs, ie: Vizcom, MidJourney

  • A sharp eye for what’s next—bringing trend-savvy taste, techniques and cultural awareness to inspire the studio and keep our creative edge ahead of the curve

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in teams, as well as independently 

  • Strong organizational and project planning skills

Start dates for this internship role are May & June of 2026.
