Work Arrangement
This role is categorized as On-site. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to New Zealand Headquarter & Cadillac Auckland Experience Centre full time.

The Role -

The Finance Manager will report directly to GM ANZ CFO (based in Melbourne, Australia).

What You’ll Do:

  • The Finance Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Key finance business partner for the GM NZ leadership team — owning financial operations, forecasting, planning, reporting, and governance to ensure sustainable financial performance
  • Working closely with NZ commercial team on pricing decisions for both vehicles and parts
  • In discharging these responsibilities, the Finance Manager shall promote an atmosphere of “doing the right thing” by modeling and communicating the company’s cultural priorities of accountability, customer service and speed; and be responsible for financial reporting, achieving financial results and evaluating business growth opportunities.    Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting and long-term planning & forecasting for GM NZ
  • Analyze volume, revenue, margin, incentive spend and operating costs across all business lines
  • Provide clear actionable insights to the CFO ANZ and NZ leadership team to drive performance improvements
  • Prepare monthly business review packs, performance dashboards and variance commentary
  • Provide support for ad hoc financial / operational analysis and special projects
  • Commercial Finance & Business Partnering
  • Act as the primary finance partner for internal teams - Sales, Marketing, Aftersales etc. and external partners – Dealers, Fleet Customers, Vendors and others
  • Support negotiations and commercial decision-making with NZ partners, dealers and vendors
  • Work closely and provide mentorship and guidance to shared services team based in Philippines, who provide support on financial planning & accounting activities

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Knowledge:
  • Broad Accounting and Finance Knowledge
  • Proficient understanding of SAP and S4 functionality
  • Skills:
  • Comprehend, interpret, and present to leadership financial summary
  • Work with hands-on approach in a lean operating environment
  • Prepare analysis and presentations through advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint (this is an absolute must)
  • Develop strong relationships with offshore shared service center team and other local and global functions
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
  • Act as a finance lead on ad-hoc projects, and achieve project milestones through use of strong project management capabilities
  • Demonstrate qualities (e.g., ethics, integrity, expertise) that establish credibility with all internal and external partners
