Responsibilities:

Supports and operates LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi network infrastructure within a manufacturing site, ensuring continuous availability and operational stability in a 24/7 production environment.

Monitors service delivery and overall health of the IT environment, proactively identifying risks and responding to incidents that may impact safety, production, or cost.

Applies practical experience, technical judgment, and hands-on execution to troubleshoot network issues, coordinate incident resolution, and support operational changes aligned with plant schedules. Works closely with site IT teams, global IT partners, and external vendors to maintain reliable network services across Assembly, Transmission, and Engine operations.

Demonstrates strong accountability, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, taking ownership of issues through resolution and closure. Models GM values and behaviors, contributes to a collaborative and results-oriented culture, and supports continuous improvement in IT operations.

Work Appropriately

On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis

Key Requirements:

  • Available to work rotating shifts on a 4x3 schedule.

  • Conversational English level, with the ability to interact in professional settings.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering, Informatics, or a related field; or relevant experience.

  • 1 year of IT experience.

  • Network Operations Experience (LAN / WAN / Wi‑Fi)

  • IT experience in 24/7 manufacturing environments

  • ​Hands‑on working style with strong accountability, effective prioritization, and a problem‑solving mindset

Desired Competencies/Skills

  • Machine Learning

  • Data Analytics: Ability to collect, cleanse, and transform large volumes of data from different sources.

  • Data Science

  • Implementation of Artificial Intelligence Agents/Models: Development and integration of intelligent agents and machine learning models for specific use cases (automation, prediction, classification).
