Job Summary

As Gerente de Import-Export, you'll spearhead strategies for import-export, customs compliance, and logistics across Watkins México plants. Ensure seamless material flow to support production in Mexico and the US, while distributing finished goods to US distribution centers and clients. Key Responsibilities

• Direct import-export, customs, and logistics teams to meet organizational goals, fostering teamwork and balanced workloads.
• Maintain top-tier internal/external client service via KPIs and assertive communication.
• Administer IVA/IEPS certifications, Anexo 30 reports, and Anexo 24 inventory control systems (I-Xport preferred).
• Implement cost-saving projects (TCP), promote continuous improvement, and ensure team safety.
• Optimize tax payments using IMMEX benefits and strategies.
• Manage truck fleet operations compliant with MX and US transport regulations.
• Collaborate on selecting, negotiating, and evaluating customs brokers, 3PLs, and carriers via quarterly QBRs.
• Prepare departmental budgets, set objectives, evaluate performance, and provide feedback.
• Act as IMMEX compliance expert, maintaining OEA/CTPAT certifications and pursuing new trade programs.
• Reconcile costs with US Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's in Comercio Exterior, Negocios Internacionales, Aduanas y Logística (Master's desirable). Complementary training in customs law or international treaties preferred.

Experience: 10+ years in IMMEX companies handling foreign trade; 3+ years in fleet management; managerial experience desired. Proven expertise in Anexo 24/30, I-Xport, Ventanilla Única, SAT platforms, and IVA credit for temporary imports.

Knowledge: International logistics, IMMEX rules, merchandise classification, CA/PROSEC/Regla 8va treaties, Microsoft Office, transport regulations (MX/US), CTPAT/OEA, continuous improvement techniques.
