The Gilead Asset Team Leader (GATL) for Trodelvy is a senior enterprise leadership role reporting jointly to Commercial and Development Therapeutic Area Heads. Based in Foster City, California, this position leads the cross-functional Global Asset Team for Trodelvy across current and future oncology indications. The GATL shapes asset vision, strategic direction, and lifecycle plans (LCP), serving as the primary liaison to senior leadership. This role demands expertise in oncology drug development and commercialization, navigating complex challenges to optimize program execution and deliver life-changing outcomes.
As GATL, you will drive strategic asset leadership by developing cohesive strategies aligned with Gilead's goals, including resource assessment, timeline management, and risk mitigation. Foster cross-functional collaboration, ensuring transparent information flow and shared vision. Take accountability for milestones, monitoring progress against Target Product Profiles (TPP), Asset Plans, and LCPs in partnership with Project Managers.
Develop global strategies encompassing development, manufacturing, commercialization, and lifecycle management, adapting to evolving landscapes. Act as a decision facilitator in governance, resolving high-impact issues, conducting scenario planning, and presenting data objectively to Portfolio Committees. Ensure scientific and commercial viability with clear Go/No Go points.
Align teams around a unified vision, promoting inclusive environments that drive debate and execution. Build relationships with internal and external partners, champion asset strategies, and advocate for scientific objectives. Collaborate with Therapeutic Area Leaders on portfolio strategies for discovery and innovation.
Candidates need an advanced degree in scientific, medical, or commercial fields, with broad oncology experience across development and commercialization.
