Responsibilities

  • Report to an Area Sales Manager and own a broad book of mid-market business
  • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and solution alignment through negotiation and close
  • Articulate GitLab's DevSecOps value proposition aligned to customer business outcomes
  • Analyze wins and losses, contribute to root cause analyses, and share lessons learned
  • Document and maintain accurate buying criteria, processes, next steps, and owners
  • Contribute to improving the sales handbook and processes with best practices
  • Provide account leadership across pre- and post-sales, partnering with technical teams
  • Represent the voice of the customer by contributing to the public issue tracker
  • Build trusted relationships and deliver meaningful business outcomes for customers
  • Collaborate asynchronously with sales development, marketing, and customer success teams
