  • Proficiency in negotiation and presenting to customer stakeholders (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Report to an Area Sales Manager and own a broad book of mid-market business
  • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery through negotiation and close
  • Articulate GitLab’s DevSecOps value proposition aligned to customer outcomes
  • Analyze wins and losses, contributing to root cause analyses
  • Document accurate buying criteria, processes, next steps, and owners
  • Maintain an evidence-based pipeline for reliability
  • Improve sales handbook and processes with best practices
  • Provide account leadership across pre- and post-sales
  • Partner closely with technical teams and customer success
  • Represent the customer voice by contributing to the public issue tracker
