Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading globally distributed engineering teams in high-growth SaaS environments (experience)

- Experience balancing short-term product needs with long-term platform strategy (experience)
- Hands-on expertise designing and scaling modular fulfillment or billing platforms (experience)
- Deep knowledge of customer-facing SaaS applications for enterprise clients (experience)
- In-depth experience with modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (experience)
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React and Vue for code and architecture review (experience)
- Experience managing applications in regulated environments with security best practices (experience)
- Knowledge of compliance requirements such as SOX and GDPR (experience)
- Ability to build consensus and provide empathetic people leadership in complex contexts (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with checkout, subscription management, or licensing flows (experience)
- Integration expertise with CRM, billing, and identity provider systems (experience)
- Background in anticipating future business needs in platform design (experience)
- Proven mentoring through feedback, pairing, and design discussions (experience)
- Familiarity with AI-powered workflows in engineering teams (experience)
- Experience improving developer experience through tooling and documentation (experience)

- History of shipping cross-functional initiatives with GTM and finance teams (experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead, hire, and develop a globally distributed Fulfillment engineering team
- Run regular 1:1s and coaching to boost team health and productivity metrics
- Drive strategy for self-service fulfillment platform with quarterly roadmaps
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, support, and product teams on buyer improvements
- Own roadmap execution, tracking throughput, quality, and release predictability
- Establish and improve engineering metrics for system reliability and availability
- Review architecture and code in Ruby on Rails, React, and Vue technologies
- Enhance team processes, tooling, testing, and documentation for higher velocity
- Identify platform gaps and drive closure with owners, milestones, and criteria
- Ensure SOX/GDPR compliance, security standards, and performance benchmarks
