- Understanding of feature development and deployment workflows (experience)
- Experience integrating with external REST services (experience)
- Experience designing or consuming GraphQL schemas in production (experience)
- Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL (experience)
- Understanding of building secure, scalable web applications (experience)
- Self-motivated with curiosity for end-to-end systems (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with error tracking tools like Sentry (experience)
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana (experience)
- Comfort building customer-facing interfaces (experience)
- Attention to frontend user experience details (experience)
- Experience in compliance-driven development (experience)
- Knowledge of enterprise identity systems (experience)
- Background in billing or subscription systems (experience)
- Skills in test-driven development practices (experience)
- Exposure to AI integration in workflows (experience)
- Openness to diverse backgrounds and transferable skills (experience)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend and frontend features in Ruby on Rails
- Integrate with internal and third-party REST services
- Design and extend GraphQL schemas and APIs for seat assignments
- Implement frontend experiences using Vue.js, Webpacker, and SCSS
- Collaborate with Product Management to refine requirements
- Drive evolution of seat management and cost control systems
- Ensure robust performance, reliability, and test coverage
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain engineering best practices across the codebase
- Support production systems and customer entitlements
