- Understanding of deployments, rollouts, and debugging Kubernetes issues (experience)
- Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation (experience)
- Experience managing state safely for multiple environments (experience)
- Solid understanding of Git-based workflows and infrastructure-as-code (experience)
- Experience in distributed systems or cloud-based production environments (experience)
- Comfort participating in incident response and on-call rotations (experience)
- Proactive mindset focused on automation and documentation (experience)

- Advanced skills in designing infrastructure automation frameworks (experience)
- Expertise in observability stacks for multi-tenant environments (experience)

Responsibilities
- Contribute to designing and evolving infrastructure automation
- Build and refine observability stack for multi-tenant environments
- Respond to platform alerts and incidents across tenants
- Plan and implement infrastructure changes and capacity expansions
- Develop and maintain scripts and IaC workflows for environment lifecycle
- Apply best practices for running GitLab on Kubernetes and cloud platforms
- Participate in on-call rotation for production environments
- Triage and mitigate incidents across clusters and providers
- Document operational tasks, runbooks, and lessons learned
- Collaborate asynchronously with distributed engineering teams
