Required Qualifications

- Experience working with Git, GitLab CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices (experience)
- Understanding of database technologies like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar (experience)
- Comfort working with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS (experience)
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker (experience)
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices (experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills (experience)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GitLab’s product capabilities across multiple stages of the SDLC (experience)
- Background in Customer Success or Professional Services operations (experience)
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Gainsight, or Kantata platforms (experience)
- Knowledge of AI-powered DevSecOps tools and workflows (experience)
- Experience developing dashboards and assessment tools (experience)
- Prior work on customer data migration projects (experience)
- Expertise in secure coding practices and testing methodologies (experience)
- History of building automation to reduce manual service delivery efforts (experience)
- Ability to create technical documentation and delivery kits (experience)
- Proven success in small, cross-functional engineering teams (experience)
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain journey-enabling platforms, assessment tools, dashboards, and portals for CS and PS teams
- Design and develop custom applications using JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Python
- Create and enhance integrations with GitLab API, Salesforce, Gainsight, and Kantata
- Implement automation to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency
- Create delivery kits, technical artifacts, and documentation for CX teams
- Collaborate with Journey Portfolio Leads and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
- Support CS and PS teams through issue triage and onboarding sessions
- Deploy applications on GitLab Pages or cloud infrastructure with secure, well-tested code
- Drive adoption of CX Engineering tools through troubleshooting and improvements
- Align work with GitLab's strategic customer journeys in AI, Security, and DevOps Modernization
