  • Passion for open source and modern software development practices (experience)
  • Track record of navigating complex stakeholder environments and building consensus (experience)
  • Able to provide high degree of major account management and control (experience)
  • Work under minimal supervision on complex projects (experience)
  • Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques for success (experience)
  • Effective communicator with strong written and verbal interpersonal skills (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Report to an Area Sales Manager or Regional Director as a Strategic Account Leader
  • Build and execute strategic account plans aligning GitLab's platform with agency initiatives
  • Navigate complex procurement cycles and develop multi-year technology roadmaps
  • Partner with system integrators and resellers to solve government challenges
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and face of GitLab for strategic prospects
  • Take full ownership of your book of business
  • Provide account leadership in pre- and post-sales processes
  • Conduct prospecting and develop opportunities in large strategic accounts
  • Ensure successful rollout and adoption of GitLab products through coordination
  • Contribute customer insights to GitLab's public issue tracker
