- Experience designing self-paced eLearning modules and virtual instructor-led courses (experience)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams (experience)
- Portfolio showcasing engaging educational content across multiple formats (experience)
- Experience iterating content based on learner feedback and performance data (experience)
- Technical aptitude to grasp and simplify complex DevSecOps concepts (experience)
- Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or related field (experience)
- Experience supporting certification or accreditation programs (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in instructional design, education, or learning sciences (experience)
- Experience with DevSecOps platforms or software development workflows (experience)
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools in learning and development (experience)
- Background in creating hands-on labs and interactive assessments (experience)
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and virtual delivery platforms (experience)
- Experience working in open-core or open-source software environments (experience)
- Skills in multimedia production including video and slide design (experience)
- Prior work in Professional Services or Customer Success teams (experience)
- Certification in instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) (experience)
- Global experience designing for diverse, multilingual audiences (experience)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable self-paced eLearning modules aligned to learning outcomes
- Create engaging content including videos, slide presentations, and facilitator guides
- Build hands-on labs and assessments simulating real-world GitLab workflows
- Develop multi-module learning paths delivered via Learning Management Systems
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to align content with updates
- Iterate programs based on learner feedback, data analytics, and performance metrics
- Maintain certification and accreditation program materials
- Partner with SMEs to ensure technical accuracy and relevance of training
- Support virtual instructor-led training delivery and facilitation
- Document work processes in the team handbook for asynchronous collaboration
