  • Strong background in DevOps or software development workflows (experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive AI integration into user workflows (experience)
  • History of launching products used by millions of developers (experience)
  • Excellent collaboration skills with engineering and design leaders (experience)
  • Experience scaling planning tools across large organizations (experience)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with GitLab or similar DevSecOps platforms (experience)
  • Background in AI/ML product management (experience)
  • Familiarity with agentic AI functionalities (experience)
  • Prior leadership of distributed, asynchronous teams (experience)
  • Knowledge of capacity planning and velocity metrics (experience)
  • MBA or advanced degree in relevant field (experience)
  • Contributions to open-source projects (experience)
  • Experience in knowledge management systems (experience)
  • Track record of simplifying complex user interfaces (experience)
  • Understanding of SDLC stages and automation (experience)

  • Lead vision and strategy for the Core Planning team
  • Own product strategy for unified work items model
  • Drive agentic AI integration into planning workflows
  • Collaborate with engineering and design on foundational features
  • Simplify configuration of issues, epics, and tickets
  • Build data-driven capacity planning capabilities

  • Scale planning mechanics for large organizations
