  • Skills in driving product discovery and delivery (experience)
  • Demonstrated success in shipping trusted security products (experience)

  • Knowledge of detection techniques and rules for secrets (experience)
  • Prior work on push protection or validity checks (experience)
  • Expertise in UX for security workflows (experience)

  • Familiarity with GitLab's platform or similar DevSecOps tools (experience)
  • Skills in analyzing product metrics and usage (experience)
  • History of representing products in customer forums (experience)
  • Understanding of SDLC integration for security (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers, account teams, and field stakeholders to understand needs and set priorities
  • Drive discovery and delivery for Secret Push Protection, Secret Validity Checks, and generic secret detection
  • Define and refine product requirements and specifications
  • Partner with Secret Detection engineering and Vulnerability Research teams to evolve techniques and accuracy
  • Work with engineering management and UX to improve workflows for compromised secrets
  • Analyze product metrics, usage patterns, and customer feedback
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Field Enablement for positioning and materials
  • Represent GitLab in customer meetings, webinars, and external forums
  • Expand detection coverage for hard-to-spot secrets like passwords and API tokens
  • Assess business potential of Secret Detection as a distinct offering
