  • Capacity to generate new business and expand existing accounts (experience)
  • Experience collaborating with strategic channel partners (experience)
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills (experience)
  • Effective written and verbal communication to influence stakeholders (experience)
  • Deep desire to help customers achieve meaningful outcomes (experience)
  • Alignment with GitLab's values and collaborative work style (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in DevSecOps or software development tools (experience)
  • Background in adjacent SaaS solutions (experience)
  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems (experience)
  • Knowledge of application lifecycle management (experience)
  • Expertise in security or application security tools (experience)
  • History of consultative, multi-stakeholder sales approaches (experience)
  • Success in co-selling with partners for customer adoption (experience)
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis on sales outcomes (experience)
  • Experience sharing customer feedback for product improvement (experience)
  • Participation in high-scale, regulated enterprise environments (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic prospects and customers as a trusted advisor on their DevSecOps journey
  • Drive the full sales cycle including prospecting, qualifying, developing, and closing opportunities
  • Provide account leadership in pre-sales and post-sales to ensure platform value realization
  • Coordinate with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, and partners on account strategies
  • Develop structured account plans with opportunity mapping and stakeholder alignment
  • Ensure successful rollout and adoption through proactive management and business reviews
  • Prepare accurate activity, forecast reports, and root cause analyses
  • Act as the voice of the customer by sharing feedback and product ideas
  • Build and manage a healthy enterprise pipeline
  • Drive rollouts, adoption, and long-term expansion opportunities
