The Global Procurement Analyst position in Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City, is a pivotal role within PepsiCo's Control & Governance team. This full-time role supports the SAP/Ariba-powered myBUY platform, used by over 10,000 end users across 50+ countries for indirect goods and services procurement. Focusing on the NA sector, you'll ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and standardize processes in the PR2PO (Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order) workflow. Ideal for analytical professionals passionate about procurement governance in the food and beverage industry.
Monitor all procurement activities to enforce strict adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulations. Conduct regular purchase order reviews to spot deviations, perform impact analyses on policy changes, and update controls accordingly. Align myBUY policies with global P2P and Procurement guidelines, develop controls matrices, and create training materials for enhanced compliance awareness. Execute Global Compliance System (GCS) controls and document them timely while liaising with internal/external auditors.
Identify potential risks in procurement processes and implement targeted mitigation strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders via governance calls, continuously monitor strategy effectiveness, and adjust as needed. Review myBUY change requests (CRs) and system upgrades with NA subject matter experts (SMEs) to minimize disruptions.
Partner closely with the myBUY control, compliance, and governance Global Process Owner (GPO) to standardize processes across all PepsiCo sectors, maximizing platform benefits like efficiency and policy alignment.
Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or Business Administration (Master's preferred). Require 6+ years in controls and governance, ideally in Procurement or Procure-to-Pay (P2P). Functional expertise in procurement processes and tools like SAP/Ariba is essential, with Food & Beverage experience as a plus. Proficiency in advanced Excel (formulas, pivots, data validation), plus Tableau or PowerBI, is key. Strong English communication, negotiation skills, results orientation, and comfort in matrix organizations are mandatory. Demonstrate affinity for technology, business processes, analytical problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
