Role Overview

The Global Procurement Sr Analyst position in Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City, sits within PepsiCo's Procurement (S2C) team. This full-time role focuses on managing RFX and contracting activities for the IT category, including hardware, software, and services. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll drive procurement excellence across several critical areas:

  • Own the RFX process for IT projects, handling stakeholder intake, market scans, RFX setup, execution, and award recommendations.
  • Draft RFP requirements with stakeholders, collaborate with suppliers, analyze responses, and provide data-backed award recommendations.
  • Partner with global procurement category leads to enhance processes and achieve continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts alongside legal, category leads, and suppliers, incorporating special terms to meet PepsiCo standards.
  • Manage eSourcing and e-auction tools like Ariba and Archlet, leading automation, digitization, and dashboard initiatives.
  • Deliver measurable cost savings, contract coverage, and productivity through proactive project identification.
  • Coach junior ICC procurement team members as a subject matter expert on RFX, contracting, tools, and best practices.
  • Support supplier development in collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

PepsiCo seeks proactive professionals with a strong procurement foundation:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or a technical field; MBA is advantageous.
  • 4–5 years of procurement experience, including 2–3 years in IT categories, ideally in global shared services or matrix organizations (experience with US/Europe stakeholders preferred).
  • Deep expertise in RFX processes, e-auctions, proposal analysis, and bid optimization.
  • Familiarity with indirect procurement, global practices, e-sourcing tools (Ariba), and AI/ML-powered autonomous sourcing technologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics for reporting, dashboards, and decision support.
  • Strong English communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
