Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience (degree)
10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries (experience)
Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management (experience)
Experience managing agreements or partnerships (experience)
Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners (experience)
Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to communicate effectively with local partners (experience)
Responsibilities
Develop groundbreaking Go-To-Market (GTM) plans for Android handsets with key carriers, setting budgets, baselines, and ambitious growth goals that align with our country strategy
Manage relationships with our channel partners, taking full accountability for Android's success in these critical channels across Japan
Be the source of truth for partner sales performance, providing insights that drive decisions and fuel growth
Collaborate seamlessly with internal Google teams from Product and Finance to Marketing, Legal, and Business Development to identify and prioritize game changing GTM opportunities for the partners
Work with partners to unlock explosive opportunities, fostering a vibrant ecosystem for device manufacturers and elevating Google and Android's prestige in Japan
