Our products need to handle information at massive scale, and extend well beyond web search. We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day. As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. In this role, you will work with the Engineering Productivity Team in India with a focus on delivering productivity platforms and artifacts for a global silicon software team. You will focus on a wide aperture of software development problems from front end to back end and infrastructure development for high availability services.

Responsibilities
- Design of creative solutions to complex problems, write organized, clean and maintainable code with minimal assistance.
- Build innovative solutions for Engineering productivity software components with focus on scale, high availability, quality and usage of Google Infrastructure.
- Build systems to simplify the setup and maintenance of CI and code coverage.
- Improve development efficiency across the silicon organization and possibly Google-wide through tooling improvements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the development process and influence technical decisions.
