Job Description

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in program management. Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (degree in technical field)
  • Program management (experience, 2 years)
  • Delivery of telecommunications fiber, space/power, capacity infrastructure (experience, 5 years)
  • Managing delivery/build/implementation of long-haul dark fiber and metro fiber plants (experience)
  • Working with telecom vendors in Asia-Pacific region, project management, carrier relations/vendor management (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of Dark Fiber (DF) and Leased Waves (LW) from order to acceptance.
  • Work with external vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Review metrics pertaining to a program, monitor metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
  • Manage the delivery lifecycle. Work with Dark Fiber (DF), Leased Waves (LW), Metro Optical Fiber Networks (MOFN).
  • Work with Bulk Fiber, IP Outside-of-Band (IPOOB), Cross Connections (XC), Disconnections.
