Our Growth Data Scientists partner with product, engineering, growth, and marketing teams to design experiments and deliver advanced analytics. Product Data Scientists evaluate end-to-end product quality, from AI text suggestions to user interfaces, collaborating with PMs, engineers, designers, and ML experts. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, launch, and analyze A/B tests and experiments to optimize product features and growth funnels.
  • Develop machine learning models for predictive analytics on user engagement and retention.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Build interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Looker for stakeholder reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and designers on data-driven iterations.
  • Evaluate AI feature performance, including accuracy, usefulness, and stickiness.
  • Partner with growth teams to inform lifecycle marketing strategies through insights.
  • Perform statistical hypothesis testing and causal inference for robust recommendations.
  • Mentor team members on best practices in experimentation and analytics.
  • Influence product roadmap with high-impact, data-backed insights.
  • Ensure data pipelines are scalable and maintain high quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in data science roles focused on product or growth.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data tools like Pandas, Scikit-learn.
  • Strong experience with experimentation frameworks and A/B testing.
  • Expertise in ML, NLP, and statistical modeling.
  • Proven ability to translate data into business strategies.
  • Bay Area based for hybrid schedule.

Salary & Benefits
