Role Overview

Grammarly has united Superhuman Mail, Coda, and its world-class AI writing assistant into the Superhuman Suite – the ultimate AI productivity platform. As a Senior Product Designer for Mail, you'll shape triage workflows that power how millions manage their most important communications.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll own the complete design lifecycle for critical Mail features:

  • Define AI-powered triage experiences collaborating with PMs, engineers, data scientists, and marketing
  • Drive designs from initial sketches through interactive prototypes to pixel-perfect implementation
  • Conduct deep customer research (qualitative interviews + quantitative analysis) to uncover unmet needs
  • Analyze competitors to identify whitespace opportunities in productivity tools
  • Partner with leadership to align designs with company OKRs and metrics
  • Create high-fidelity designs using Figma that scale across Superhuman Suite
  • Work embedded with engineering for seamless, delightful execution
  • Mentor junior designers while elevating overall design culture
  • Design micro-interactions that deliver "wow" moments customers share
  • Stay ahead of interaction design trends to keep Superhuman innovative

Qualifications

We're looking for designers who combine craft with strategic thinking:

  • 5+ years shipping consumer products at Series B+ startups or Big Tech
  • Portfolio demonstrating complex workflow design (email, productivity, collaboration tools)
  • Mastery of modern design tools (Figma expert required)
  • Proven research skills with real customer impact examples
  • Experience designing AI/ML-powered features
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering and product
  • Obsession with details that create delight (motion, typography, accessibility)
  • Comfort presenting to C-suite executives

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $165,000 - $225,000 USD (depending on experience + location)
