As a Senior User Researcher, Agents, you'll lead high-impact research for our innovative AI Agents team, shaping products that eliminate busywork and boost productivity for professionals worldwide.

Based in Berlin with a dynamic hybrid model, this role offers the perfect balance of focused deep work and energizing in-person collaboration. You'll partner with Product, Design, Data Science, and Marketing teams to uncover user insights that drive strategic decisions and product innovation.

Superhuman's suite—including Grammarly's writing assistance, Coda's workspaces, Mail's inbox management, and Go's proactive AI—integrates across 1M+ apps. Your research will directly influence these market-leading tools used by 50,000 organizations and 3,000 institutions.

Key Responsibilities

As Senior User Researcher, you'll own the research lifecycle for Agents products:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify high-priority research topics aligned with business goals
  • Design and execute end-to-end studies using interviews, usability tests, surveys, and advanced methods
  • Lead exploratory research informing Agents' simplification, scalability, and extensibility strategies
  • Synthesize insights to guide product vision, roadmaps, and strategic decisions
  • Partner with Data Science to define metrics tracking AI feature adoption and workflow engagement
  • Act as customer advocate and research thought leader across the organization
  • Deliver actionable insights fueling ideation sessions and solution validation
  • Communicate findings compellingly to executives, PMs, and designers
  • Monitor user behavior continuously to iterate on product experiences
  • Foster data-driven, human-centered culture throughout Superhuman

Qualifications

We're seeking researchers who excel in complex, high-stakes environments:

  • Bachelor's degree + 6+ years in UX/applied/product research
  • Proven end-to-end research leadership with mixed methods expertise
  • Cross-functional experience with Product, Design, Eng, Data Science, Marketing
  • AI/productivity tool research experience highly preferred
  • Strong synthesis skills turning data into strategic recommendations
  • Executive communication and stakeholder management proficiency
  • Familiarity with research platforms (UserTesting, Lookback, Qualtrics, etc.)
  • Metrics definition experience (adoption, engagement, retention KPIs)
  • Fast-paced startup/thriving environment success track record
  • Passion for customer advocacy and human-centered design

Salary & Benefits

Competitive Compensation: €95,000-€135,000 base (USD equivalent) + equity in high-growth AI leader, based on experience.
