Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Stack Engineer at Grammarly/Superhuman, you'll wear multiple hats across our technology stack:

• Architect and deploy production backend services handling extreme call volumes for global users.
• Craft pixel-perfect, accessible frontend experiences using React, TypeScript, and modern web standards.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform to ensure reliable, repeatable deployments.
• Partner cross-functionally with Core, Enterprise, Trust & Safety, and Data Science teams to launch customer-delighting features.
• Maintain 99.99%+ uptime for mission-critical consumer and B2B services.
• Champion engineering excellence through comprehensive documentation, rigorous testing, and user-centric design.
• Leverage data analytics to guide product decisions and continuously optimize engagement metrics.
• Lead experimentation initiatives in our data-driven culture, running A/B tests that shape product direction.
• Audit current systems and design future-proof architectures capable of 10x growth.
• Mentor emerging talent while growing under senior engineer guidance.
• Build showcase features highlighting Superhuman's AI-powered differentiation.
• Contribute to technical blog posts sharing insights from real-world scaling challenges.
• Participate in code reviews ensuring maintainable, performant codebase evolution.

Qualifications

We're seeking battle-tested engineers ready to make an immediate impact:

• 7+ years full-stack development experience shipping production systems.
• Deep knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems principles.
• Expertise in JavaScript ecosystem (React, Node.js, TypeScript essential).
• Proven backend experience with high-throughput APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Cloud infrastructure proficiency (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
