Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Stack Engineer at Grammarly, you'll wear multiple hats and drive impact across the stack:

  • Architect and build production backend services handling millions of requests daily
  • Craft pixel-perfect, accessible frontend experiences with React/TypeScript
  • Design scalable database schemas and optimize query performance
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and modern DevOps practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Data Science, and Trust teams
  • Lead technical initiatives from ideation through deployment and iteration
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing
  • Ensure 99.99% uptime for mission-critical customer-facing systems
  • Experiment with cutting-edge AI/ML integrations for contextual assistance
  • Contribute to open-source projects and our technical blog

Qualifications

We're looking for engineers who thrive in ambiguity and deliver results:

  • 3+ years of full-stack development experience with modern web technologies
