Role Overview

Grammarly, now part of Superhuman, is seeking exceptional Full-Stack Software Engineers to join our Platform Team in Berlin. As a key member of this elite engineering group, you'll build the developer tools and infrastructure that empower our 100+ engineering teams to ship world-class AI products at lightning speed.

Our Platform Team owns the Developer Experience (DevEx) and Release Engineering functions, creating the tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices that scale across the entire organization. You'll work on high-impact projects that directly influence how 40 million users experience our products daily.

This hybrid role requires two days per week in our Berlin office, fostering the trust, innovation, and culture that define Superhuman's engineering excellence. The rest of your time offers maximum flexibility for deep focus work.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer on the Platform Team, your impact will span the entire development lifecycle:

  • Architect and build developer tools that accelerate feature development across all teams
  • Design scalable CI/CD pipelines handling thousands of deployments daily
  • Champion platform engineering best practices through tooling and documentation
  • Collaborate with product engineering teams to eliminate workflow friction
  • Debug complex production issues across distributed systems at massive scale
  • Mentor junior engineers while learning from our senior technical leadership
  • Contribute to technical strategy and roadmap planning
  • Optimize build times, deployment reliability, and developer productivity metrics

Qualifications

We're looking for engineers who combine deep technical expertise with platform engineering passion:

  • 5+ years full-stack software engineering experience
  • Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, system design)
  • Production experience with modern web stacks (React/Node/Python preferred)
  • Hands-on CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration
  • Track record shipping reliable systems serving large user bases
  • Experience working with data to drive engineering decisions
  • Writing clean, testable, maintainable code that scales
