Staff Product Designer, Enterprise Experiences at Grammarly - New York City Hybrid

Role Overview

Grammarly, now proudly part of Superhuman—the leading AI productivity platform—is seeking a Staff Product Designer to join our innovative design team in New York City (Hybrid). This senior-level role focuses on crafting enterprise admin experiences for Coda, our collaborative workspace platform that's revolutionizing productivity in the AI era.

Superhuman empowers over 40 million people, 50,000 organizations, and 3,000 educational institutions worldwide. With products like Grammarly's writing assistance, Coda's workspaces, Mail's inbox management, and Go's proactive AI assistant, we're eliminating busywork so teams can focus on what truly matters. Admin and Enterprise accounts drive more than half of Coda's revenue, making your designs mission-critical for customers like Apple, Electronic Arts, Spotify, and more.

In this high-impact position, you'll lead end-to-end design for complex enterprise features, partner directly with Fortune 500 clients, and shape the future of scalable productivity tools. Our hybrid model in NYC offers the perfect blend of deep focus time and energizing in-person collaboration. If you're a design leader passionate about enterprise UX, solving thorny admin challenges, and building products that scale to millions, this is your opportunity to make a visible difference at a world-class company.

Explore our values and see how we're fostering trust, innovation, and team culture. As a Staff Product Designer at Grammarly/Superhuman, you'll thrive in a tight-knit team that supports bold ideas and rapid iteration.

Key Responsibilities

As Staff Product Designer for Enterprise Experiences, your impact will span strategy, execution, and collaboration:

  • Lead Enterprise Design: Own end-to-end design of Coda Admin and Enterprise features, turning intricate workflows into intuitive, delightful experiences that power top companies.
  • Customer Partnership: Collaborate directly with largest accounts (Apple, EA, Spotify) to co-create features, build trusted relationships, and deliver tailored enterprise solutions.
  • Strategy Influence: Guide roadmaps for account management, workspace organization, billing systems, and onboarding—shaping products that generate over 50% of revenue.
  • Rapid Iteration: Experiment in a fast-moving environment, testing prototypes, gathering feedback, and refining designs with engineering and PM partners.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor designers, provide thoughtful critiques, and elevate our design culture around complex enterprise problem-solving.
  • Scalable Systems: Design dashboards, permission controls, multi-tenant management tools, and productivity workflows that scale effortlessly.
  • User-Centric Research: Conduct interviews, usability tests, and analytics reviews to ensure designs solve real enterprise pain points.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, sales, and customer success to launch polished, high-quality features.

This role demands both strategic vision and pixel-perfect execution, perfect for designers who excel at enterprise complexity.

Qualifications

We're looking for a proven design leader with deep enterprise experience:

  • 7+ years shipping user-loved products, ideally in admin, billing, or account management systems.
  • Expertise creating novel design patterns for scenarios where standard systems fall short.
  • Self-directed strategist who executes with exceptional craft and attention to detail.
  • Track record designing scalable enterprise tools like dashboards, workflows, and productivity platforms.
  • Comfort leading customer workshops and translating feedback into actionable designs.
  • Strong Figma/Sketch proficiency with advanced prototyping and design system skills.
  • Experience in AI-enhanced productivity tools is a plus.
