Key Responsibilities at Rivian

As Group Leader, Paint Automation, your impact will be immediate and far-reaching. Here's what you'll tackle daily:

• Demonstrate strong communication and people management skills to lead your team effectively.
• Provide hands-on assistance and expert knowledge for production, AM, and PM functions.
• Collaborate with suppliers, SMEs/PEs, Controls, and Maintenance teams to resolve complex quality and throughput issues urgently.
• Drive continuous improvement through planning and executing equipment enhancement projects.
• Assign and track all Automation Autonomous and Preventative Maintenance Activities.
• Oversee training and safety for the entire assigned technical team.
• Support new equipment introduction and manage spare parts setup.
• Lead troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic systems as first responder.
• Perform high-level root cause analysis with recurrence prevention plans.
• Develop robotic path work and brush files for launches and optimizations.

Expect to work in a dynamic environment, occasionally traveling for training or buy-offs, and managing extended shifts when needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
