Key Responsibilities at Datadog

As a GTM Strategy and Operations Analyst, you'll wear multiple hats in a fast-paced environment:

• Drive quantitative and qualitative analysis: Synthesize complex datasets into senior stakeholder recommendations that shape Datadog's global priorities.
• Lead GTM planning: Support annual business target setting, quota management, and strategic forecasting for APAC and global teams.
• Master data visualization: Build and maintain executive dashboards using Tableau, Metabase, and Salesforce while refining KPIs for maximum business impact.
• Execute deep-dive analyses: Answer critical strategic questions through ad-hoc research that directly influences sales strategy and operations.
• Foster cross-functional partnerships: Collaborate with Finance, Recruiting, Enablement, HR, and Sales leadership on high-priority initiatives.
• Optimize operations: Streamline day-to-day processes, manage stakeholder support, and drive KPI excellence across GTM functions.
• Innovate with automation: Identify and implement scalable solutions to enhance GTM efficiency and support hyper-growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

Datadog seeks candidates who thrive in ambiguity and deliver results. Key qualifications include:

• BA/BS/BE degree from an accredited university
• 1-2 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, revenue operations, growth strategy, or business analysis
• Proven quantitative skills with a track record of transforming complex data into actionable business insights
• Business-level fluency in English and Japanese (written and verbal)
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Metabase, Looker) and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and results-oriented mindset
• Strong communicator capable of presenting to senior executives
• Technical aptitude with SQL, Python, or Excel; cloud/observability knowledge a plus
