Role Description

Our 10-week Law Summer Internship runs from Thursday, May 28, 2026, to Friday, August 7, 2026. Based in New York, NY (housing not provided), this program immerses you in the daily operations of our multi-disciplinary Law Department. Gain invaluable industry knowledge through business interactions, hands-on projects, and exposure to practice areas like Insurance Product Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Investments and Transactions, Litigation, Compliance, Employment Law, Data Privacy/Security, Intellectual Property Law, and Government Relations.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Contribute to collaborative projects across our multi-disciplinary legal team, supporting real business impacts in insurance law and financial services.
• Assist in-house attorneys with legal research, preparing memoranda, written analyses, and administrative duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in mentorship programs, corporate training, one-on-one work product reviews, and continuous business exposure.
• Network with senior leaders in conversational settings and collaborate with interns across Guardian offices.
• Tackle analytical challenges in areas like regulatory compliance, data privacy, intellectual property, and corporate transactions.

Education & Experience

Compensation Overview

Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $35.00. This good faith estimate reflects base pay for the New York location. Final rate based on education, experience, knowledge, and abilities.
